  This is seriously the worst hospital I have ever heard of or been too. Every single doctor there is extremely rude and ignorant. If you need to go to the hospital do yourself a favor, drive to Spokane.

  This place is a dangerous joke. As a last resort I brought a suicidal person here who needed desperately to talk to someone and to get help- I was told by 3 different help places to go to the emergency room. After we checked in and waited 45 minutes I was told someone from their crisis center was on their way, which is why our wait was longer. After waiting 45 minutes more I checked again and spoke to another front desk person who was ridiculously rude and said she knew nothing about anyone coming and that she’d be taking us back in to a room to speak to an ER doctor who would then call someone. At this point we decided to avoid the looming emergency room bill and absolute lack of care and concern and decided to leave. TO KOOTENAI HEALTH: When someone with suicidal ideation is *forced* to come here, PLEASE make that person a priority. They are there because they need help! I am so disappointed that this is what our community has to work with. You should be seriously ashamed.

  Last time I checked. It was illegal by HIPPA to install cameras in patients private rooms. Not only that but everyone we were met by wad rude and non caring what so ever. I took a friend here and they mocked him and practically laughed in his face. They showed zero respect for his well being. Needless to say, HIPPA and patients advocacy will be called.
